American RnB-soul star Alicia Keys has added another string to her bow, as she launched her jewellery collection. 

The Grammy Award-winning singer – who will be performing on The X Factor this coming weekend – showed off the range of necklaces she co-created with The Barber’s Daughters designer Gisele Theriault at the Collette Blanchard Gallery in New York.

“I fell in love with the individuality of the pieces, but more than that, the words that were written on them really resonated with the songwriter in me,” Alicia told Women’s Wear Daily about the designs, which feature precious metals and gems and are inscribed with inspirational messages.

No word as of yet whether Keys will be introducing charm bracelets, but she’s said to be a fan so watch this space…
