The Royal Wedding Best and Worst Dress
admin | May 3, 2011Not only was the wedding a spectacle for all to see with the stunning bride Catherine Middleton looking absolutely flawless in her Sarah Burton by Alexander McQueen, the guests of such an event took some of the attention with some daring outfits, shocking hats and a general “what were they thinking moment?” . We revisit some of the best and worst dress of the day.
Worst dress
This one was not difficult to spot with the Princess’s Beatrice and Eugenie sat very close to the Royal family the camera was often on them for their choice of hats and entire outfit, Princess Beatrice’s choice of hat was extremely ridiculous and it was certainly a lessoned learnt by the Princess.

Some of the other guests and their choice of wardrobe was interesting, Victoria Beckham to some can go under the best dress however, with the look on her face throughout the ceremony she looked more like she was attending a funeral rather than a Royal Wedding.
Chelsy Davy outfit seemed a bit miss-matched and looked as though she could have made more effort in general. Tara Palmer-Tomkinson’s outfit was awful it was a lovely colour however the hat again seemed as though she just wanted to get noticed no matter what the cost. Finally with the David Cameron’s wife she is noted for not wearing a hat and then again not really looking as though she was attending a wedding and Nick Clegg’s wife looked like something out of Evita, it was a shame as all these beautiful women and they all generally look fantastic somehow let it slip and when you are in-front of an audience of 2 billion you really don’t want to be doing that.
Best Dress
Has to foremost go the bride who looked absolutely stunning along with her sister Pippa and Mum who opted for a pastel blue and she looked fantastic.
The Queen looked great in her choice of yellow, it really made her stand out and glow on the day.
Camilla also looked lovely and Princess Letizia from Spain looked gorgeous in her choice of outfit.
The one’s that looked best are the ones that toned it and used neutral colours which obviously worked well.
